Blount County Court Clerk

	The Circuit Court Clerk's Office serves an important role in the Judicial System of Blount County. The Clerk's Office maintains the Circuit, General Sessions, Juvenile and Traffic Court divisions. The function of each office is to provide assistance in the areas of courtroom administration and records management, docket maintenance, revenue management, maintenance of court minutes, official communication, and various other court associated duties. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with the exception of holidays.





	Tom Hatcher began his public service career in 1982 with the Blount County Sheriff's Office where he was employed for 12 years. He worked as a patrolman, a criminal investigator and as director of the Fifth Judicial District Drug Task Force. He was elected Circuit Court Clerk for Blount County, Tennessee in 1994. In 2000, he received his Certified Public Administrator Degree from The University of Tennessee. He received his Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice from Roane State Community College in 2004.
